| State Consolidation and Enablement Act of 2284 OOC: I thought that I'd introduce a totalitarian aspect to Kanjor so we can have some interesting RP. ----- IC: ---Summary-- The Holy Kanjoran Empire is hereby under a Perpetual State of Emergency. All rights and powers of Non-Governmental entities are hereby suspended according to the following directives: ---Definitions--- (i) This act shall pass by a supermajority of the Legislature. (ii) The Legislature, in passing this act, signs away its legislative rights to the Cabinet (iii) The Cabinet shall assume all powers and duties of the Government. The Kanjoran Fascist Party and the Kanjoran Panterran Movement shall have complete control over the Cabinet. The aforementioned party with more seats has the final word on decisions of the cabinet. Another party may be given a place in the Cabinet if both the CSU and KIP give their expressed consent. (iv) All subsequent acts of the legislature will carry the weight of “advice” to the Cabinet Government. (v) The “Perpetual State of Emergency” may only be undone by a Directive of the Cabinet. ---Consolidation and Enablements--- (i) The Government of the Empire of Kanjor hereby declares its sovereignty over the populace of the 5 Imperial Provinces. (ii) The Government of the Empire of Kanjor reserves all legislative rights. The Grand Council of Kritarchs and any other legislative entity shall now be an advisory panel for the Imperial Government. (iii) All rights of the individual are hereby suspended indefinitely. (iv) "Consules darent operam ne quid detrimenti respublica caperet." "Let the Consuls see to it that no harm comes to the commonwealth." The Government shall create a police agency that answers to the Lord Consul that will take all necessary measures to protect the state. (v) Opposition to the State, whether through an individual or an organization, is considered harm to the State, and thus will be subject to immediate retribution by the State Police. (vi) Every citizen and inhabitant of Kanjor must have a sincere respect and love for the State, its doctrine, and its directives. Failure to comply will result in deportation to a re-education camp. (vii) It is not permitted for an inhabitant to think thoughts contrary to State doctrine. |
