Bill: National Defence Industry

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialist Party of Darnussia and Malivia

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2287

Description[?]:

Malivia should have only national defence industries, not private defence industries. Private defence industries are unreliable and seek to make a profit off of war. All defence industries should be owned by the people's state.

MessageWe feel that the additional input from private defense industries prevent stagnation of ideas. Defense is all about staying current and with a single source (either private or public) we run the risk of falling behind.

Random fact: The majority of nations in Particracy are "Culturally Protected" with an established cultural background. Only the "Culturally Open" nations are not bound by the rules surrounding culture. The Cultural Protocols Index should be consulted for more information about the cultural situation of each nation.
