Bill: Call for early elections, February 2287

Details

Submitted by[?]: Partie de la Révolution de Sekowo

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: October 2287

Description[?]:

We, the Partie du Coup d'État (Vanioka), call for early elections as soon as we can reach a consensus.

With more even seats we can fight a fair civil war, with the representation for each party directly according to what the people want. We have full visibility so we can put our manifesto to the test of elections.

MessageIf we fail we cannot blame our lack of visibility. This is not borne out of spite, but out of concern for Sekowo.

MessageOOC - Cheers, we want to see if it would even it up. I messaged you because I thought you would get it before the turn of the months.

IC - We are not suggesting it IS civil war, we're saying if it comes to that the even distribution of seats will make it fairer

Messageooc - Our judges count the votes. We WILL cheat. The dead will vote for us, children will vote for us, our enemies will vote for us. No machines or crimethinkers will be allowed to sit in the halls of the Congreso Nacional.
IC - "The People's will WILL be seen. The People will support us unanimously," Rodrigo Boca del Diablo rants and then quietly adds, "Even YOU will vote for us."

MessageThe machines we refer to are terms for our men. They fight for a just cause. They are determined against the sickening actions of the AS.

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".
