MessageFlawless argument, except that you can't just pluck jobs out of thin air and give them to people. In order to pay all of those burgeoning bureaucrats, you need to raise taxes. Higher taxes mean higher costs to companies, who then need to cut costs in other areas to stay solvent, i.e. lay off their workers.

Unless it is producing demanded goods or services, a government cannot create jobs. It only shifts employment artificially. If you were really concerned about unemployment, you would support abolishment of welfare, minimum wage, and high taxes.
