Voting deadline: September 2289
Description[?]:
Article 1: Those interested in religion should by themselves search for their believes and therefore go directly to those involved and get information. It should also be able to arrange home teaching by religious movements. It should not be allowed for groups or individuals anywhere in our country to preach religion to those not interested in such things. Noone should attempt to to force religious perspectives on anyone else without their consent. Article 2: After reviewing interesting ideas of other nations, HPP wanna create a dress code concerning employees in the state and for them who have a public function. They should no longer have the right to wear religous clothing. They represent the state and sould be totally neutral while doing their duty. As political independence is creved, as should religious independence. In all other cases, the choosing of clothes is completely voluntary, respecting other laws on this matter. Article 3: Why should religious communities go free of national law as they are hiring people too? We should also regulate this to secure ministers in getting what they are worth. Also this will save the state money if ministers do not receive anything for their work and then end up on welfare. We should make sure the religious communities pay their ministers. |

Message | This is ridiculous. Article 1: If a religion is to be taxed as a business, it should be able to advertise as one. Anything else would be hypocrisy. Anyways, HPP's argument that this forces religion down people's throat is flawed. If one sees a commercial for Wal-Mart, does that mean that Wal-Mart is forcing its views down people? No. We hope that the populace of Hobrazia is wise enough to be able to educating decisions when and if they decide to adopt a faith. Article 2: Once again pointless. Why should a Sikh have to remove his turban while serving? Or a Jew to remove his yamacha? They don't stop becoming Sikh or Jewish just because they are a public official. Article 3: WTF? Really? This is ridiculous. "We should make sure the religious communities pay their ministers." They already do. "We should also regulate this to secure ministers in getting what they are worth." The whole existence of article 3 undermines your arguments for article 2. You talk about how government employees should be religiously neutral when they serve the state, yet propose that the state regulate ministers' salaries? We hope that the HPP will recognize the laughability of this. |

Message | Whilst I agree with much of HPP's rationale this goes to far. I would be willing to support proposal 3 however and proposal 2 has some merit. |

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer. |
