While we agree compensation payouts awarded to patients should not hit obscenely high levels, we do believe the level of compensation awarded ought to be able to exceeded the legal and medical costs. Where appropriate, patients should be fairly and reasonably compensated for the suffering and inconvenience they are subjected to as a result of mistreatment. |
