Submitted by[?]: Telamon Royalist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2291

Description[?]:

"I have recieved a formal request from Sarah Cruz, mayor of Sidonia, Sevescia, to support their bid for the 2300 Summer Olympic Games to be held in their beautiful city. We need to publicize our nation, we need to bring more people the knowledge of what a wonderful nation we live in. And with the games, we could do that. What say you, shall we support? Can we do this?"

-Elizabeth Lents, Minister of Environment and Tourism

MessageWe could certainly support a viable bid and it would be great to bring the games to our country. But we would like to see the bid document produced by Ms Cruz before formally making a decision

Message((Wouldn't be a Lord Mayor. She's elected. She'd simply be a mayor. Lord Mayors are appointed.))

MessageActually, some Lord Mayors are elected. It's a modern thing. I also find it interesting that titles such as Lord Mayor, Lord President of the Council, Lord Privy Seal, etc. don't change for women who hold the title. Odd, huh?
