Description[?]:
http://www.takeforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1887&start=180&mforum=particracy "Ladies and gentlemen of this august house, we have a problem. We have been told, by no less an individual than the President of the Solentian Republic himself, Mr. Vincent D. Garton, that his government not only does not condemn the actions of Jacob Roberts, but in fact endorses them. Ladies and gentlemen, it is the opinion of the Telamon Royalist Party that we must respond, and respond in a manner that the Nuncirists will feel. "We have to respond, but we fear, we deeply fear the manner in which we feel we must respond. Our belief is that trade sanctions will not work. The Nuncirist state does not trade, it takes, by force if need be. A trade embargo simply wouldn't work. We wish we didn't have to say what we are about to say. Unfortunately, we fear that we have but one option left to us." "Ladies and gentlemen of the House of Commons of the Telamon Commonwealth, it is our opinion that, as of the moment that President Garton gave Mr. Roberts his official endorsement, there can be no question. We are already at war." -- 'Princess' Melissa Calderon, TRP MP for Kirimati Downtown and Environs |

Message | This must recieve further review. It would be insane to pass a declaration of war without discussion. We will not vote for or against until the Royalists explain what this bill will require us to do. |

Message | The Centre party will not, with so light a debate, endorse or even abstain from a declaration of war. The murder of a TRP spokesperson is condemnable, yes, but those who support such an action are excercising their right to free speech, not an executive declaration of war. We feel that war at this juncture would be a mistake. We further feel that the obvious emotion extolled on the party of the TRP is unbecoming of a mature government partner and furthermore suggest that the TRP withdraw from negotiations with Hutori. It is apparent to members of the Centre party that this is little more than a tussle gone out of hand. There is no call for war and no reason to involve the nation in the party-political snubs of a junior government partner. The Centre party must stand opposed to this motion. |

Message | If this is a declaration of war, we must vote no. Unless the TRP can explain further what they mean. However, we find the Centrist rhetoric attacking our loyal partner extremely regrettable. |

Message | No. This is NOT a declaration of war. It is simply a responce, stating that we view the actions of the Solentian Republic as tatamount to a declaration of war by THEM against US. We will NOT respond militarily unless they attack us first, but that we do view their actions as ones to which we COULD HAVE responded were we willing to play at their slimy level. |

Message | We apologize if our wording was a little confusing, we were upset when we wrote the bill.... |
