Bill: OOC: Color Convention of 2291

Details

Submitted by[?]: Catholic Workers Union

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2312

Description[?]:

Come on guys, can't we choose some party colors that mesh well together. I've been trying to find a color that will look decent beside the bright shades of the UCA and Royalists and that will also go with the Centrist white and it's damn near impossible.

Other countries have nice colors that look well side by side. I know it's a minor point, but can't we all compromise on this issue?

I'll happily switch between yellow, blue, green, and red, depending on where the other parties want to go.

MessageI know the UCA's colour isn't the most esthetically pleasing but it has always been our colour and it would be a shame to change it!

MessageWell, couldn't you go with a slightly darker shade of blue? I hate to be a bug, but wouldn't it be nice to have a Telamon where the colors went together nicely?

Like the Grand Duchy of Keymon:

MessageWe can change to any colour, as long as it's purple, to paraphrase Henry Ford.

MessageThe new Royal purple is so much nicer on the eyes. It works well with our rich green as well.

The UCA white is better than the old burning blue.

You guys are great!

MessageIt is at this point that I admit that the reason that I haven't changed my colour before is that I have actually not got any idea how to do it! I played around with it yesterday and it now seems to show different colours. To the IADP it appears to be white. On the election page it appeared as black and to me on the Nation page it appears as a darker blue which is what I wanted . Could someone please provide some help!!!!!!!!!!!!

MessageSure thing. The following link is a site with all the colors and their corresponding hex code. Enter the code of the color you want into the box for changing colors (it's near where you change your presidential candidate). Play with it until you find a decent color that meshes well with the rest of us.

My personal recommendation, code: 0000CC

But here's the sight. See what pleases you.

MessageHmm, I wish the Socialists were red.

And I was thinking, we should create a Telamon Commission on Party Colors to maintain our new color beauty. Whaddya think?
