Bill: Home Schooling Act of 2292
Details
Submitted by[?]: Telamon Royalist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2294
Description[?]:
We feel that the right of the person to educate his or her child in the manner that best suits that child should not be infringed upon. There must be standards which need to be adhered to, certainly, but studies have shown that there are children who simply learn better if taught in a much smaller environment. Therefore, we propose legalizing non-religious home schooling. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Education for children under adult age.
Old value:: Education is compulsory and has to happen at school.
Current: Education is compulsory and has to happen at school.
Proposed: Education is compulsory, but home schooling is permitted.

Random quote: "I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers." - Martin Luther King Jr. |
