MessageThat's a strange position to take. I'm going to run down the benefits and costs of doing this:

- Government revenue will increase from taking licensing fees
- Taxes on casinos will become easier to enforce, increasing tax revenue
- The market for casinos will improve considerably, since there will be no way to organize things such as poker tournaments and horse races without a nearby casino.
- It will help reduce corruption in the casinos by allowing us to revoke licenses and ban mobsters specifically without hurting honest owners.

As I see it, it will increase revenues, decrease crime, and make casinos more attractive to run.

One last thing. How do you intend to enforce this? If Bob-down-the-lane decides to throw a party and includes a small stakes poker tournament, are we going to stop him? How will we know? Do we expect his neighbor to report him?

MessageNo way.

How exactly is this far to people who wants to play poker with their friends? It's not. This is extremely undemocratic and prohibiton never works.

I think it should be left alone or made the jurisdication of the federal government.

MessageI prefer the option that allows for people's homes too. you can't really control what goes on inside peoples homes so it is best not to try.

Random fact: "Game mechanics comes first." For example, if a currently-enforced bill sets out one law, then a player cannot claim the government has set out a contradictory law.
