Message"The Social Liberal Party respects the sovereign decision of Lusitanians. The Popular Party has the legitimate right to establish it's government, even though the Social Liberal Party elected Dirk Verhofstadt as President and despite the fact that the Social Liberal Party earned a victory in the overall popular legislative vote.

We thank the Green Worker's Party for it's support in electing our new President, and we re-affirm our determination to establish a majority consensus on legislative decisions. The future is bright once again for Lusitania." - Guy Verhofstadt, Leader of the opposition.
