Bill: Recreational drugs regulation
Details
Submitted by[?]: Edelweiss Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2075
Description[?]:
Its a sensitive subject that could lead to allot of controversies but as a progressive party we would like to get this through or even start a debate. As said by another party during the alcohol bill debate that what is illigal, tastes better. As so for alcohol (which is still and also a drug!) this is the same for soft-drugs! We must regulate something in order to control it is my prior argue and I think its an important one. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The recreational drug policy.
Old value:: Recreational drug use is forbidden.

Message | It's a drug. The affects of Cannabis wear off while you're awake and don't leave you massively hung over after smoking a large amount, whereas alcohol will. (from personal experience). |

Message | Medically, alcohol is a drug. (though so is tea). It is true that cannabis is only illegal where cigarettes and alchol are not because of tradition, and it seems nonsensical to have different policies on them. Therefore I will support its legalisation as long as a clause is added to ensure the same regulations on currently legal dugs - only purchasable by adults from liscenced outlets. that way we can control it. |
