MessageThis cabinet proposal is intended to be as inclusive as possible. As we have a large number of parties with a reasonable number of seats we desire to hear their voices in the cainet meetings.

MessageWhile we will respect your decision CCF-Greens, we would ask that you communicate the motive behind declining a position that we had understood was central to your particular concerns and interests.

MessageSure.

The idea of national unity governments was a central demand of the PACF. We were not part of that demand. We are only interested in taking part in cabinets where our minister will receive some support from her cabinet colleagues on her area of responsibility.

This is certainly the portfolio of most concern to us, but we are not interested in running a ministry where the head of government will oppose our efforts. When we held the ministry of education and our policies in education were rejected, our minister was forced to resign. If our policies on the environment and agriculture are to be opposed by the head of government, we would prefer to promote those policies from outside cabinet.

MessageWe would recommend that you see the public declaration made by Frances Hutcheson concerning the policy lines to be adopted by the ASP as Council leader and as the largest party. If you still feel this way then we will alter the proposal. However we prefer to give you a chance to reconsider.

MessageVery well. On the basis of the President-Councillor's very positive declarations, we will accept the offer of responsibility for environmental issues.

MessageThat problem is currently under discussion. As they obtained 40 seats they sghould be represented, but how this will work is not clear.

ToDebating the Cabinet Proposal of July 2074
MessageWe urge others to vote negativel as we cannot forsee how a Government can work with an inactive ministry, especially the Justice Ministry in this case, whose Minister's approval is needed should the Right of Privacy June 2076 be passed.

MessageWe would suggest that you vote against the right of privacy act then, as that is fundamentally flawed. There have been many cabinets in the past with sleeping ministers, and it is not certain that TiC will not be able to participate, it is just not certain that they will.

Not that I blame the Adam Smith Party for not selecting me.

MessageWe appologize to the DSP, but with less than 5% of the seats and only 10 positions available, we are sure that you understand the nature of the proposal. There is nothing personal involved.

MessageWhile I am honored to be entrusted with the post, I understand the concern as well.
If I am unable to adequately perform my duties as minister of justice, I delegate them to be decided by a nonpartisan council containing representatives from the ASP, Amystian, MLP, and CCF-greens. The Head of state shall be permitted to decide ties.
