Bill: A time for freedom
Details
Submitted by[?]: International Freedom Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2302
Description[?]:
Continuing the theme of freedom throughout Gaduridos. 1. Gays in the military - we do not want to see anyone denied the chance to serve their country on the basis of sexual preference. 2. We beleive in a strongly unionised workforce, but it should be a voluntary system. 3. Madatory military service is no longer desirable. We are a nation at peace, and we fail to see that a nation needs thousands of teenagers that know how to make thier beds at 6am 4. Gaduridos is not a nation of prudish behavior. We beleive the current laws amount to censorship. To the adults concerned we say it is their responsibility to monitor what the children are watching. |

Message | We agree with all but Article 4 Yes parents have a responisbility to manage what their children watch but we as the government must also set a standard. We must give a message to what is appropriate. If this bill was passed, the parents could let them watch a cartoon (which then feature sexual themes - unlikely but possible) and in the ad break adult material can be advertised. Even though unlikely having sexually explicit legal at ANY time of the day. We are all for liberalism but this is a step too far. |
