Description[?]:
The CTP firmly believes that every person should have a party who he can agree wholeheartedly with, this is one of the reasons the CTP was founded to begin with, and we promote an expansion of the parliament so that every person can have his voice heard and not settle for the party they think can win because it has a monopoly on seats. |

Message | Your proposal is reasonable, Likatonia is a high populated country and if we look to many other countries, electable council seats have been expanded towards the years. I think 325 is a very reasonable number of seats to represent more then 50 million people. We support this proposal! |

Message | 200 seats has served us adequately in the past. As there has been no large population spikes in the past, I see no reason to vote in favor of increasing the size of our paliament. Besides, I doubt the taxpayers of Likatonia want to pay for an additional 125 legislators and their staffs. |

Message | For 50 million, 300 would've been better. Did you do the math to get proportional representation? |

Message | No. 325 seemed good. I didn't know I should have gone that in depth, sorry. |

Message | People do not vote for representatives. They vote on a regional basis for entire parties. We have no smaller districts. We cannot set any smaller districts. The prefectures are the only valid "districts" available to us. Every single person in the parliament is appointed by the parties according to how many votes the PARTY got. Increasing the seats only allows the parties to seat more politicians. Decreasing the seats doesn't affect people's voting at all, since they have no direct say in parliamentary seats anyways. To put it another way. Say we have a 100 seats available and I win 10% of the vote nationwide. So, I get to choose any 10 people out of the NCP and appoint them to Parliament. If I got 20%, I'd get to chose 20 people out of the NCP. The people didn't elect their representatives, they elected -me- and I appointed their representatives. As you can see, this is a long long ways from a direct diplomacy, and not even very close to a standard republic. |

Message | The nub of the matter is that we want to make the choce people to be able to voice their own opinion through smaller parties more viable. Many people vote for one party because they know it has a large amount of seats and can achieve results, despite the fact the party may or may not support their opinion. We want to make it more viable for people to dissent from the larger parties' platforms. |
