MessageIf it lowers the potential capacity for working and being involved with society I cannot see the benefits of such a policy. Also this will cost maybe millions in having addicted workers and others who slack of work or are incapable of it. We cannot in good conscience back this bill.

MessageThere is always that possibility. I am not saying that it will happen, but the possibility is such that we should think about some regualtion at least. I don't want to see them banned, but, if we have a law that permits alcohol only to those 18 years or older in licensed premises, we should consider similar things for recreational drugs, otherwise it seems slightly contradictory.
