Bill: Refugee Policy: 112074
Details
Submitted by[?]: Nationalist Free-Market Republican Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2076
Description[?]:
With the large number of refugees pouring into Tukarali, it has been brought before the NCRP that something has to be done. Tukarali has enough problems on their hands. These refugees constantly pouring into our nation is only bringing us down. I propose to restrict refugee immigration to only that of which extreme circumstances required the refugee to evacuate their nation. |

Date | 19:58:50, July 03, 2005 CET | From | Democratic Socialist Party | To | Debating the Refugee Policy: 112074 |
Message | The jobs don't "belong" to only Tukaralians. If you're worried they're being underpaid as compared to Tukaralians, institute a minimum wage. |
Date | 02:30:16, July 04, 2005 CET | From | Nationalist Free-Market Republican Party | To | Debating the Refugee Policy: 112074 |
Message | The purpose of the government is to look out for the well-being of TUKARALIANS, not foreign refugees. I will not give a job to a foreigner when I can give a job to a Tukaralian. |
Date | 13:01:11, July 04, 2005 CET | From | Republican Party | To | Debating the Refugee Policy: 112074 |
Message | Maybe Tukaralians should take other jobs? If there is someone who want do this job for a little less paidoff, Tukaralians will be happy, because it means cheaper products and services. |

Message | NFMRP: The government should not consent to petty xenophobia. It cannot discriminate on the grounds of nationality or race. |
Date | 19:52:48, July 04, 2005 CET | From | Nationalist Free-Market Republican Party | To | Debating the Refugee Policy: 112074 |
Message | The government has a responsibility to look out for OUR people FIRST, not someone else's. I'm not saying immigration should be outlawed, I'm saying that it is better that we not allow so many refugees to pour into Tukarali. We have our own problems without the need to take on other people's. |
Date | 21:26:58, July 04, 2005 CET | From | Democratic Socialist Party | To | Debating the Refugee Policy: 112074 |
Message | The government should no only help people living within a thin national boundary. |

Message | As per the DSP, plus immigrants can fill vital economic gaps in our domestic employment market. |
Date | 07:08:49, July 05, 2005 CET | From | Nationalist Free-Market Republican Party | To | Debating the Refugee Policy: 112074 |
Message | Vital? No. Helpful? Maybe. DSP, the government is not here to protect the whole damn world. We are the government of TUKARALI, so WE LOOK OUT FOR TUKARALI, NOT EVERY SINGLE GODDAMNED "UNADVANTAGED" CRAPISTAN WASTELAND! Your internationalism is greatly angering me. How DARE you consider yourself to be Tukaralian when you refuse to look out for Tukarali, but instead wish to look out for some crapistan nation that can't be helped! *sighs* Okay, my rant is done. However, SDP, I did not say I was cutting immigration altogether, I was saying we should only accept refugees in extreme cases. We will still offer refuge to those people who are in dire need of it. However, I don't want every single Joe and his family coming over to Tukarali because their welfare check was late. |

Message | We Republican Party want every single Joe and his family sa long as they will be good citizens. We should have some extradition for offender with no right to come back to our magnificent country. |
Date | 15:01:43, July 05, 2005 CET | From | Rightist Party | To | Debating the Refugee Policy: 112074 |
Message | Hmm no. If they committ a crime on our soil, they should be punished. When their time is up, deport them. Extradition is in the use of giving a criminal back to the region/nation that the perp committed that crime in. |

Message | Well, since no one wants this bill to change -- only pass or fail -- I'm moving it to a vote. |

I think you've lost a lot of credibility with that rant. |

Message | I've never had credibility with you. And frankly, at the moment, I don't care, for a few reasons: A) I was already angry, there was nothing that could be done, and B) This is a GAME. So, at some points, I will deliberately be an ass, just to humor myself. :D |
