Message | would the CU care to explain their reasoning behind this proposal? It is not something we have previously considered greatly but our natural inclination is certainly against the proposed ideal, however we are always willing to listen to good arguments against this, especially as our own reasons are largely based on negative reactions to such an alternative. |

Message | We have to consider certain situations where someone has truly been wronged by a person or entity (such as severe injury leading to extereme disability) and deserving of a high monetary cash payment. We believe these should be rare cases, but the government should not infringe on a victim's pursuit of justice. This is why our government should not impose a cap on monetary damages awarded in lawsuits. |
