This bill recognises the benefits that pesticides bring to farming. It however notes that these can be harmful to both local wildlife and humans.

This bill will also introduce a labelling scheme in which product will be marked as to whether pesticides were used in its growing. The exact details will also have to be available to consumers if they wish for them by contacting the company.
