Many chemicals and pesticides which have been used by famers in the past and some that are used now are in fact hazardous to human health, both for those who eat the food contaminated by them and indeed for the farmers themselves who use/spray them. They can also be environmentally damaging and cause pollution. Therefore we believe that these chemicals should be monitored and regulated to ensure controlled use only of suitable chemicals. |
