Description[?]:
We might want to find a compromis proposal for the use of pesticide. The current situation as it is unregulated is without any doubt not recommended to maintain. As an environmentals party we propose the most radical solution to the use of pesticides: its forbidden! But moral issues learn us that this outcome could mean the cause of financiel damage to agriculture industries. I hope we can work out a solution. |

Message | My immediate reaction was that this was right. However, on closer contemplation, modern, specific pesticides used correctly and responsibly do not harm ecology, and banning them totally would harm the economy quite severely. Therefore I would be in support of government regulation so that only certain pesticides can be used, but not a total ban. |

Message | This is now acceptable, though I thought the best option on the list was government regulation - that way we can ban harmful pesticides like ddts. |
