Message | New Democrats support changing the torture policy but would like to reserve it as a tool to be used in times of imminent danger-- if it's the only way to save the lives of thousands of citizens, then it must be done. |

Message | Torture to extract information from those convicted of a crime seems ok to me, but when used to extract a confession or similar statement from an unconvicted suspect is unacceptable. |
Date | not recorded | From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the Stop Torture Act |
Message | I've changed the proposal to the option the New Democrats suggested (at least I think that's the option you were referring to), because I feel that option is better than the current. So, even though I don't entirely agree with it, I'd vote in favour. |
Date | not recorded | From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the Stop Torture Act |
Message | I think that (if allowed at all) torture shouldn't be applied to people convicted for crimes such as stealing, however, it could be applied to terrorists for extracting information. |

Message | I feel I would now be likely to support this bill in its current, ammended form. |
Date | not recorded | From | New Democrats of Rutania | To | Debating the Stop Torture Act |
Message | Yeah I definetly don't think that torture should be applied to people convicted of any crime like stealing (or even murder). Terrorism is the only circumstance I'd consider it acceptable. |
Date | not recorded | From | New Democrats of Rutania | To | Debating the Stop Torture Act |
Message | So yes, SDP, I'll support this bill. |
Date | not recorded | From | Imperial Party | To | Debating the Stop Torture Act |
Message | I'll support this but only reluctantly with the ending "under grave emergencies where the information is vital." For petty crime, I would say no, but in matters of politics I would advocate this. By politics, I mean, terrorists, foreigners, politic dissidents, etc. |
Date | not recorded | From | To | Debating the Stop Torture Act |
Message | The Liberal Party is against all forums of torture, and as this bill progresses towards less use of said action, will vote in approval. |
