MessageYou already have your share of seats in parliament.

The Social Liberal Party is the elected head of government and has already reached an agreement for a coalition. A majority consensus has been reached and the nationalist are not part of it.

MessageGiven the recent proposals of the SLP in economic matters we can't form a coalition with it. Progressive tax violates all of our economic principles and policies. The SLP talks about a recession and makes of it a a kind of monster to frighten Lusitanians. The truth is that Lusitanians have more money than they have before as we greatly lowered taxes and government spending in areas that we gave to the private sector to manage and explore. We truly believe in our policies and in our principles and we know that our work has been good for all Lusitanians in the sense that we gave them a better health and education systems and the money necessary for Lusitanians to access them. We won't accept this proposal.

MessageThe Conservative Party seems to like recessions.

When the GDP/capita goes down, salaries go down as well, while inflation soars above interest rates. Your lack of understand of uber-basic economic principles is appalling. With a recession, Lusitanians are earning LESS, not more. When they have to pay for their health care access to services goes down, etc, etc, etc.

The Social Liberal Party will allow the Conservative Party to reconsider. Otherwise we will be calling for an election as soon as this proposal fails. Your blind faith in a failed ideology will not allow for progress and prosperity.

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost.

Random quote: "I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers." - Martin Luther King Jr.
