Message | This law ignores any actions the religion performs with the money. If the money is being spent to feed and clothe the needy, any money must first pass through the hands of the taxman. Our government has realized that there are many ways to accomplish the same goal. Geraja and other religions are filling a need in helping those who need it most. Their income should not be taxed yet again before they are able to accomplish their good works. Just so the government can filter the money through more hands and then give it to the same individuals to buy food and clothing. |
