| The view we take here is that there's no place for the state in the bedrooms of the nation. If it's not recognized, then we can't regulate it to make sure sexually transmitted diseases are not transmitted. Through the equal opportunity provided by our education system, everybody has the chance to get a good job. Therefore, those wishing to prostitute themselves will be doing it because it is their choice. The age of consent for prostitution will be set at 18 to coincide with the age at which compulsory education ends. |
