Description[?]:
This will help establish a system for early childhood education. In favour of allowing people to pick the type of early education they would like to give their children, we hereby recommend that the federal government allow a two-tiered system; both public and private. Both systems would have the same set of standards and regulations to ensure that young children from both systems go into the primary school system with the same level of rudimentary knowledge. Education starts at birth. Life is a learning process, and in the developmental years, the time between when the infant enters the curious toddler stage to when they enter kindergarten, there has to be something in place to ensure that they start learning early in life. Learn isn't all academic. Learning also occurs in terms of social skills and personal skills. This is the fundamental reason why it is important that there are universal standards for both private and public nurseries and preschool institutions. Both the private and public institutions will hire professionals who have been certified in early childhood education as a priority. Other teachers are welcomed as well, though specialised teachers are given preference. These institutions will focus on teaching the same thing parents do, as well as helping with the social development of each child. That is the baseline. Anything above and beyond is welcomed. |
