Bill: Independent 3
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2310
Description[?]:
Our educated population is being punished for its intellegence by being forced to join the military after completing school. This is unjust. I propose that we make military involvement voluntary when not at war. The current system is also dramaticly inefecient economicly because much of our workforce is needlessly being sent to the military instead of contributing to the economy. The force may be needed in the future, until wartime large force is a waste of funds that could be put elsewere . |

Message | Maybe, but if war would be at hand, we'd have too send millions of untrained soldiers who never even touched a gun. It is far more better to train them for, say, 8 months, so that they know at least the basics of fighting when sent to battle. |

Message | If war were at hand we would first send the troops that worked for the military by choice, and they would buy enough time for the rest to be trained. |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
