Bill: Income tax proposal of February 2310
Details
Submitted by[?]: Artanian Sozialistische Arbeiterpartei
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2310
Description[?]:
The Social Alternative propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Free Republic of Dorvik. As you can see, the top rate of tax is now applied to all those earning over 15,000. Someone earning 20,000 will now pay 1,430, instead of 1,330. Someone earning 60,000 will now pay 5,030 rather than 4,130. Although this may seem drastic, we feel it is not, given that it increases general income taxation from 83 Billion to 94 Billion, both remain amongst the lowest rates of income tax in the world, but it will give us the money to aid the poorest in our society |

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire. |

Ask the experimenters why it is morally okay to experiment on animals, and the answer is: "Because the animals are not like us." Animal experimentation rests on a logical contradiction." - Charles R.
