"The CP's sees marriage as an union of a man and a woman. We are not "against" homosexuality nor other types of sexual orientation nor is it our purpose to make any kind of discrimination. MessageWhat part of "civil marriage" does the Conservative Party not understand?

You've said it yourself CP... "We just believe that there are other options, such as de facto unions."

De facto unions is a poor translation from Portuguese to English. "União de facto" is in fact "civil marriage" in English.

In any event... for whatever the reasons, this proposal is discriminatory.
