Message | Free speech shouild not be stifled to protect the population against the actions of a few. Only by permitting a free exchange of ideas can such misguided opinions be debunked and our nation grow in understanding and care. |

Message | Unfortunately hate-speech and false statements and rumours are not a question of debate - they are actively used in malicious campaigns against for example minorities and incite people to violence. It is a mistake to allow for incitement to genocide for example - that isn't speech, it's a death threat. Or at least that's our position. After all "the Strength through unity party" might actively promote a extra-parlaimentarian hate campaign - and then what do we do when they've stirred up the hatred in the streets? Better to stop the evil-doings when they haven't gotten out of hand. |
