Message | Instituionalized child abuse? LibCom has gone off the deep end. To equate corporal punishment with child abuse is like comparing a water pistol to a nuclear bomb. Instead of getting long-winded on this joke legislation, we will simply state that we feel each local government should determine their own disciplinary actions. |

Message | EM, where do you draw the line? One second it is hitting the kid, the next strapping, after that whipping, then flogging, or flaying! WHERE DO YOU DRAW THE LINE? |
Date | 02:01:23, July 05, 2005 CET | From | Protectorate Party | To | Debating the End Institutionalised Child Abuse |
Message | Just after flaying:) no seriously we back SRP's point the state cannot support violence on our youth. Parents may be a different manner, the same perhaps for private schools but for opposite reasons. |
Date | 00:34:13, July 06, 2005 CET | From | Vast Right Wing Conspiracy Party | To | Debating the End Institutionalised Child Abuse |
Message | SRP - Corporal punishment is well defined at the local level. Allow the citizens to decide for themselves how their children should be disciplined in schools. |
