Bill: Bill to Add more seats to the legislative branch

Details

Submitted by[?]: People's Progressive Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2312

Description[?]:

Right now my parties votes on bills dont even count. if we open up the number of seats, social alternative would still maintain majority but it would also give at least some voice to the other parties in this country.

now unfortunately all it takes is one vote from social alternative to reject this bill, however i plead with you that we may pass this bill because it is not even that big of an increase (max is 750 seats, i propose 250)

MessageYour logic is absolutely appaling. Increasing the number of seats will not give any party any greater say, as their number of seats would stay proportionate. If we increase the number of seats, how exactly will that mean your partys votes count? Furthermore, we have had the current system for over 200 years, if you want change, give valid reasonings.

MessageWait, current system for 100 years, and 200 seats for 100 years before that.

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI).
