Bill: CP Foreign Policy
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2312
Description[?]:
We believe that cultural similarities are an important point in the determination of quotas to determine how many foreigners may reside permanently in Lusitania. We think that the more culturally similar foreigners shall prevail over those who are less culturally similar in terms of quotas concerning immigration. This way, we are also preventing an excessive acculturation of the immigrants when coming to Lusitania, which we believe to be good for them and for us. In the same line of though, we are proposing the closing of our borders to refugees. Our nation would still give them aid if eventually needed, but in their own countries or others than not Lusitania. |

Message | Article 1: is racist and will hurt the economy since, we are no longer allowing the engineer from Somalia to enter our country because of cultural differences, while we allow the Belorussian mobster with no qualifications whatsoever. Quite frankly its a stupid idea. Article 2: Is Illegal, hurts free trade, immoral, expensive since we ARE actually giving aid, and does not help developing nations. Another stupid idea. Article 3: Drastically diminishes our voice and reputations in international affairs. |

Random quote: On 7th February 4281 a group of renowned Metzist experts from all across Terra met in Haldor to form the International Committee for the Estimation of the End Date of Capitalism (ICEEDC). With the assistance of a powerful computer, they calculated that capitalism will terminate Terra-wide on 6th November 4320, and in Dorvik on April 17th 4310. We have no reason whatsoever to believe these very eminent and learned scholars are wrong. They have never been wrong about anything before. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
