Bill: Gambling Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Deltarian Okhranka
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2316
Description[?]:
We believe that while local governments should be given certain powers, the full legalisation of gambling is something that harms the families of people unable to control their gambling habits, and legalisation only in certain regions leads to massive amounts of concentrated vice and crime, and will destroy the livlihoods of those unfortunate enough to be living where casinos are built. Illegalisation of gambling leads to more powerful organised crime syndicates. Therefore, we propose this compromise. |
Proposals

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire. |
