Details

Submitted by[?]: Likaton Coalition of the Willing

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2315

Description[?]:

This Bill is a resolution with one goal: To make clear in law what so many already know, that the Axis Mundi paramilitaries and slave traders should not be given legal or poitical credence.

Article 1: That membership of any party or organisation assciated with, affiliatedto, or sponsored by Axis Mundi, or suspected of such, be made illegal.

Article 2: That any and all such organisations should have their assets seized by the Government immediately.

Article 3: That any convictions resulting from Article 1 be considered as a bar to public office.

We anticipate this legislation being enacted immediately, as an emergency bill, but will make provision that it not be enforced until 1st May 2315, to allow time for such organisations to disband.

Signatories:
Emperor Alexander Defarge Manion, First Advocate of the Free Republic of Central Likatonia
Stefan Defarge, Emissary of the Free Republic of Central Likatonia

MessageThe AMRLP has had a long and noble history in The Free Axis Mundi Republic of Central Likatonia, and has no intention of disbanding under the provisions of such an illegal bill. A party which represents 49.51% of the voters in our land has no need to kow tow to a statistical fluke which gave another party a 3 seat majority in the Convocation.

We shall resist this power grab by all means within our grasp, for the people of The Free Axis Mundi Republic of Central Likatonia need and deserve a clear choice, not a one party state that runs their lives.

Power to the People!
Liberté, égalité, fraternité, ou la mort!

Random fact: "Game mechanics comes first." For example, if a currently-enforced bill sets out one law, then a player cannot claim the government has set out a contradictory law.
