Message | So does this mean youre against gay marriage/relations? The only reason that youd propose this bill is to take a baby step toward abolishing gay sex (hence the title). And why should two people in one part of the country be able to have sexual relations while another couple in the next county cannot? If this bill passes, it will be like drinking laws in the were in the ficticious nation of America; except people would cross over the county line to have sex instead of drink alcohol. |

Message | The GFP is not opposed to gay marriage. However, we are strongly devolutionist, and recognize that some of the more religious counties (like Miktar, for example) would like to prevent homosexuality. The loss of population/economy would be that region's, as those who do wish to engage in these acts would simply relocate to a more friendly region. Although it may seem we are advocating lack of choice, we are really doing just the opposite - giving the people in each region the choice. |

Message | The PPP understands your reasoning, but given our stance on morality and the freedom to choose and express ones own sexual preferences gives us no choice but to vote 'no' to this bill. |
