Details

Submitted by[?]: One Nation Socialist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2316

Description[?]:

Ensuring a mixed economy. We would like to ensure that vital public services are conducted by the state.

Energy companies and alike, will be controlled by an "industry director", responsible for its day to day running. the appointment shall be made and the Great Chieftain for each industry brought under state control. Industried like energy are very profitable. we feel that such profits could be used to benefit the public.

The passing of this bill also enact the creation of an independant department of experts in the area of each industry. Their job to investigate ways in which the state owned industries service can be improved and recommend them to the trade and industry minister, on a basis dictated by that minister.

MessageProposal 1: Small scale private electrical generation is permitted but most energy is generated by a government-owned company.
Proposal 2: The national grid is fully owned by the State.
Proposal 3: Energy is provided by nationalised companies.

We though it over, checked the possible options, and we're willing to support the second article, but we'll keep opposing the first one, and we're still in doubt about the last one

Message.ha despite your generalisations not everyone is the same. show me proof that the people don't want nationalisation. Opinions show they are much more opinionated on other issues and don't have the stronges feelings on this issue.

MessageWe're going to oppose this matter. It is a known fact that opinion polls do want power plants to continue to be runned by private individuals as well as the power grid. One has to go back and look through all the opinion polls dealing with this issue.

Random fact: Large scale RP planning (such as wars, regional/continental conflicts, economic collapse, etc.) should be planned (as best as it can be) and should have consent of a majority of players involved.

Random quote: "The 20th century has been characterised by three developments of great political importance: the growth of democracy, the growth of corporate power; and the growth of corporate propaganda against democracy." - Alex Carey
