Citizens' Self Defense Act of 2317 An act to guarantee citizens' the right to bear arms. WHEREAS, recent spats of riots have endangered personal property. WHEREAS, rural communities face the ugly threat of crime constantly without the safety of a local police force. SECTION 1: That the right to legislate "conceal-carry" laws be devolved to the individual Cantons. SECTION 2: That the ownership of firearms not be prohibited except in serious cases, as follows: -----A. Mental illness. -----B. History of violent criminal activity. SECTION 3: That the right to own any weapon not be prohibited except as determined by the property owner. |

Current: Individuals are not permitted to own firearms under any circumstances.
