| Message | Due to the disasterous and unthought through increases in expenditure passed through this Chamber, the Republic is operating at a shortfall of over 36bn HCR's per annum. Even with the prudent work carried out over many years we cannot match that shortfall for much longer. It is to this effect that we should reduce expenditure minimally and increase overall taxation levels for a period so as to lessen that shortfall. |

| Message | The Marxist Socialist Party believes that the government is totally wrong with the money that it is directing towards the defence when more could be spent on Infrastructure and Transport as well as Health and Social Services. If this comes to a vote and we had power in the house of representatives we would vote totally against this budget until the military is under 100,000,000,000 and (I&T) and (H&SS) receive more funding. |

| Message | A fault. It used to be that you could add .x into the mix, so it was supposed to be an increase by .5 (our old tax was 17.5%), but for some reason the .5 isn't working anymore. Will modify it in another bill. |
