Bill: Children's Choice
Details
Submitted by[?]: People's Progressive Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2322
Description[?]:
Children should be encouraged, but not forced, to honor their nation by singing the national anthem. (Also, terrible singers should not be made to embarrass themselves in front of class, heh). While they should not be forced to sing it, they should at least show respect for others who DO sing it and believe in the great nation of Dorvik. However, we should not make it a LAW punishable by the government to disrespect the national anthem, but rather leave it up to the teachers who should discipline any form of respect. (OOC: I must clarify this respect issue because one of the options is "Children are not made to sing the national anthem, but are required to show respect when it is played at the commencement of school each day." |
