MessageIf it's not compulsory then the people who don't have membership can be exploited. All workers must be equal, the ones that can be exploited will be and the ones that have membership will be out of a job. All workers should be equal in this respect, it's in no way a big-brother loss of freedom type law, in the greater sense it's regulating corperations more than it is workers.
Also, it would be a lot nicer to let us debate this bill for awhile before setting it to vote, so people don't just vote and forget about it and the people less informed of this issue can hear arguements on both sides instead of having to vote to gain seats.

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election.

Random quote: "Popular suffrage is in itself no guarantee of freedom. People can vote themselves into slavery." - Frank Chodorov
