Message | Minister Polyov addresses the jawatankuasa. 'Though we have yet to come to an agreement on the exact terms and position we have regarding the Deltarians, the Foreign Ministry believes it is imperative we have an official declaration of neutrality from the government. If we are about to begin taking in refugess from a nation that shoots the families of refugees, we should not be surprised if we soon find ourselves the target of criticism and condemnation. We cannot expect people forced from their homes by the most base forms of tyranny to stand idly by and wait for this storm to pass, and while law enforcement can help limit the incidence of criminal conspiracy within Malivia, it cannot eliminate it. We will soon, I fear, find ourselves accused of harboring terrorists and rebels, regardless of whether those accusations are true. 'An official declaration of neutrality in all armed conflicts, and a pledge to keep borders open to all refugees regardless of nationality, is absolutely necessary.' |

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
Random quote: "Up against the corporate government, voters find themselves asked to choose between look-alike candidates from two parties vying to see who takes the marching orders from their campaign paymasters and their future employers. The money of vested interest nullifies genuine voter choice and trust." - Ralph Nader |
