MessageThe Marxist-Socialist Party of Hobrazia rejects the idea of unregulated systems of government especially with t.v and radio where enemies of Hobrazia can use this as a sign to undermine Hobrazian security. We wholeheartedly reject this idea.

MessageWe fail to understand the reasoning behind any of this as it makes little or no sense either economically or for the consumer specifically, not to mention the damage it would do to the infrastructure of the Country.
Article 1: This is the biggest problem with the bill. Privatising the grid would be bad enough. Selling off the infrastructure of the Country to a private entity would risk damaging service quality at best, and at worst actually allowing foreign companies to own essential infrastructure of this nation which could lead to the equivalent of them holding this Country to ransom over our power supply. However, this bill goes further and actually breaks up the National Grid into smaller less cohesive entities increasing maintenance costs as each company operates seperate maintenance guidelines, increasing the risksto the consumer as their would be less inter-area cooperation between the grid companies than at present increasing consumer prices, and an overall risk to power supplies to the Country.
Article 2/3: Currently the only subsidised media company is HBC which operates competitively alongside private media entities. The Government has no direct control over HBC but HBC in order exist is tied to providing high quality programming and information services. Removing HBC from this requirement and privatising it leads it to operate solely competitively and rather than providing guaranteed highbrow entertainment designed in inform and educate it would become more lowbrow and attempting to please the lowest common denominator within the Country in a futile search for ratings and thusly private income, which could only be bad for the education of our citizens.
Artcicle 4: Of all the articles we would be most likely to support this, but we ask; why not regulate the services from a private company? If they lose a parcel, should the consumer not expect that regulations be in place to protect them? Should they not provide a high quality service, should not there be regulations to stop them providing a poor service to the consumer? Regulation is not an evil thing designed to block competition, rather it is designed to guarantee high quality service provision winthin the private sector.

MessagePlease do not respond to bills proposed by the First Party of Hobrazia. They are not a recognised political party ( http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=91106) in the Republic of Hobrazia and thus all other parties should vote against these bills.
