Message | This will ensure the wellbeing of refugees, strengthen defence, science, education, infrstructure etc. The income proposal is set forward elsewhere. |
Date | 03:01:01, December 11, 2006 CET | From | Leviathan Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of March 2327 |
Message | Where is all that money for science and technology going? While we support the tax increase, we need to be specific about where this money will go. There is also the issue of defense spending; neutral nations with growing defense budgets are a rarity indeed. We support a revised budget, but it needs more deliberation. |
Date | 14:58:42, December 11, 2006 CET | From | Protectorate Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of March 2327 |
Message | We support the increase in science as serving the purpose of creating the needed technologies to create more efficient Arcologies. In addition the space program would most likely lend considerable benefits for such construction. Defense spending does seem a bit excessive but can be adapted to our needs. |
Date | 15:36:55, December 11, 2006 CET | From | Malivia Democratic Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of March 2327 |
Message | These are excessive increases, IMO. |
Date | 20:45:59, December 11, 2006 CET | From | Malivia Whig Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of March 2327 |
Message | Excessive and irresponsible increases to this budget is why the Whig Party shall stand opposed to this budget. |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
Random quote: "The European Union and environmental advocacy groups use global warming hysteria to advance their own special agendas. The European Union recognizes any significant reduction in CO2 emissions by the United States will significantly reduce its economic output, thereby bringing it closer to the inferior output of European nations. Environmental advocacy groups work to stifle economic and industrial progress wherever they find it to inhibit the successful advancement of peoples in developing nations, inevitably making mankind a second class citizen of planet Earth." - Dr. Jay Lehr |
