Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 10:20:19, December 11, 2006 CET | From | Mutualist Party of Cildania | To | Debating the Taxation Freedom Bill, 2327 |
Message | What these proposals actually do (in conjunction with the LPs previous 'Tax Cuts for the rich Bill') is to burden ordinary Cildaniana for the benefit of the wealthy and corporations. We see that the LP has such little faith in the merits of their proposals that they immediately put them to the vote rather than giving the Senate time to consider their merits (if any). |

Message | I agree with 2, but not 1. |
Date | 11:47:36, December 11, 2006 CET | From | Union for a Responsible Republic | To | Debating the Taxation Freedom Bill, 2327 |
Message | All parties have and do bring up measures immediate for to vote. That's a strawman argument at best. |
Date | 04:18:39, December 12, 2006 CET | From | Mutualist Party of Cildania | To | Debating the Taxation Freedom Bill, 2327 |
Message | The LP still seems unable to come up with ANY reasons why Corporations should not pay tax, particulary majority foreign owned ones? (which the current law allows. These Corporations benefit from Cildanian Government Services, yet, if this is approved will not contribute to them. Corporate Welfare anyone? |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
