We are proposing legistlation which would support the concept of "out of sight, out of mind" and help to deter others from picking up the habit. Location of a product in a store is a prime motivator of sales as any marketing executive will tell you. |

| Message | One wonders if we should do the same to alcohol. It would be difficult for a supermarket to put an 'out of sight, out of mind' to a liquor department. The MDP continues to oppose the proposed law and feel the current law is good enough. |

| Message | alcohol is currently limited by location according to our laws. Requiring a license to sell. We do not have such restictions on tobacco. In addition alcohol is not addictive, thus there is no need to avoid the occasional impulse purchase. |
