Bill: Repeal Religious Favoratism
Details
Submitted by[?]: Leviathan Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2329
Description[?]:
Given that, quite conveniently, the delegates from the LSP and LevP were detained and not able to cast votes that would have easily defeated the provisions, we call for another vote to repeal them before the next session of the Jawatankuasa. |

Message | While we normally would support these proposals, we dislike the LPs disrespect of the jawas time by reconsidering a proposal that passed in the same session, whether people voted or not. We will abstain on these proposals, the proposals will fail, and hopefully this will teach the LP to not act whiny in the exact same session when they don't get the result they desire. We will support these proposals in the next session, and we maintain the need for rules of order that would prohibit parties from resubmitting proposals in the same session, because that truly is a waste of the jawas time. |

Message | We will also note to the LP that both our 'Malivian Freedom" bill and the PP's "Religious" bills passed this session with a quorum, or more than half of assembly. That other parties chose not to vote does not invalidate the results in any way. |
Date | 15:19:41, December 15, 2006 CET | From | Protectorate Party | To | Debating the Repeal Religious Favoratism |
Message | We regret that the LevP and LSP members did not feel that their service to our country was important enough for them to attend the vote over these issues. However those who where present voted in favor of the now current laws and we see no reason to change it at this time. |
Date | 02:57:27, December 16, 2006 CET | From | Leviathan Party | To | Debating the Repeal Religious Favoratism |
Message | We cannot speak or the LSP, but all LevP members were caught up in a giant, 8 month typhoon off the cost off Keymon after a party retreat, and were unable, not unwilling, to vote. To disparage our desire to serve the Malivian people is totally unwarrated. |
Date | 03:06:57, December 16, 2006 CET | From | Faithful Believers Of Malivia | To | Debating the Repeal Religious Favoratism |
Message | Malivia has a state religion history and we should support that. We feel sorry about not showing the last days, but our point of view doesn't accord to the meanings of the other anti-religious-parties. Look at Malivian history before, ... Our state religion has never been questioned, till now. Why should we do that? |
Date | 20:58:55, December 16, 2006 CET | From | Protectorate Party | To | Debating the Repeal Religious Favoratism |
Message | We appologize for the previous comments addressing the LevP lack of devotion to their duties. Senor members of the PP are aware of the level of professionalism the LevP members have toward their duties. Some members tend to get over excited and forget that we all are working toward a common cause and serve Malivia. The junior member responsible for the previous statement has been disiplined. |
