Bill: End Hobrazian Subjugation

Details

Submitted by[?]: Hobrazian Improvement Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2330

Description[?]:

For too long Hobrazians have cowered and abased themselves before the iron fist of global opinion. No longer should we allow our sovereignty to be compromised by foreign treaties. We should withdraw from the Global Emancipation Treaty to show the world that we are emancipated because slavery and serfdom are abhorrant practices, NOT because our domestic policy is governed by the whims of others.

MessageI think Hobrazians can be trusted not to re-introduce slavery without being bound by treaties. The only reason one would vote no for this is because one believes Hobrazians are stupid, stunted, backwards people who would re-introduce slavery.

A 'no' vote is a vote for the idea that Hobrazians are evil barbaric scumfucks. Do YOU think the Hobrazians are evil barbaric scumfucks? Because we in the Improvement party don't believe the Hobrazians are evil barbaric scumfucks.

MessageWe will accpet a withdrawal from this treaty. We though would like to state to the new parties unexperienced in hobrazian politics, that the HPP supports the use of slavery as a legal punishment inside the rules of our nation and only if decided by the courts.

MessageWe will not accept this as though we believe that Hobrazia in its current form would not support any such measure (i.e. the introduction of slavery) we must stop any parties even considering this ideal, something the current treaty does.

Message"A 'no' vote is a vote for the idea that Hobrazians are evil barbaric scumfucks. Do YOU think the Hobrazians are evil barbaric scumfucks? Because we in the Improvement party don't believe the Hobrazians are evil barbaric scumfucks." That's the silliest reasoning we have heard in a while.

Random fact: The influence a bill has on elections decreases over time, until it eventually is no longer relevant. This can explain shifts in your party's position to the electorate and your visibility.
