Bill: Education Preserved

Details

Submitted by[?]: Guds og Konges Kjemprene

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2331

Description[?]:

Ad Art. 1: Private universities work much better than public ones. If people can't afford them, the government pays for them via scholarship programs if they are good enough to earn one.

Ad Art. 2: Same as 1.

Ad Art. 3: Let the schools decide. It doesn't really matter if there's sexual education at school (apart from basics in biological classes), normally teenagers find out soon enough and hear about precautions also.

Ad Art. 4: Do we really want that some extreme local government allows schools to hit children or do corporal punishment of other kinds? Our party at least doesn't.

ooc: I tends to no have a great debate on normal laws, since also if they not pass they are useful in order to make political positions. When we must vote about laws with supermajority, then a debate is needed in order to not have a waste of time.

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too.
